The Psycho 4 and Speed 3 boast massive depower and huge boosting potential. The secret behind that is the Triple Depower Technology. This allows the kite to go from easy to hold and control to shooting you high into the air and slowly floating you back down again. When the bar is out (away from you) the kite is depowered. When the bar is pulled in towards you the kite powers up. This action typically just changes the angle of attack. On the Psycho 4 and Speed 3 it also changes two other things – the canopy curve and the airfoil camber. This allows more or less canopy to be exposed to the wind.
