Last week I was in Sardinia for the Flysurfer dealer meeting. The event is called “Innovation Days” and it gives all the FS staff, designers, importers, major retailers and team riders a chance to get together and discuss everything about FS and test loads of gear. The Speed 3 has been a massive hit over the last year and recently an extra size was added to the range – a 21m. Now I know this sounds huge, but it is surprisingly usable. It is of course aimed at ultimate lightwind performance and for the larger rider. If you are too small you wont be able to hold well to edge against it. This kite is capable of immense hangtime and has a very steady and consistent pull making it great for wake style tricks.
