The first drop of 2.5m and 6.0m Flysurfer Virons have now arrived in the UK. This is the new Flysurfer powerkite aimed at beginners. A conventional powerkite has no, or only minimal depower and can usually only be used on dry land. That is why it is harder to control the kite and the progression of the kiter is low. The wind-range on a normal powerkite is also extremely limited and more importantly the kiter does not learn how to handle and operate a real depowerkite.

With the VIRON that is quite different. It feels and handles just like a depowerkite and combines all the elements of a “large” kite in a small, robust, self inflating and revolutionary closed-cell kitesystem without the disadvantages known to powerkites.
