FS UK rider Chris Walker also did well placing 2nd in the Amateurs.
FS UK buggy rider Josh Hough came 3rd in the buggy freestyle too. Here is what he had to say:
Had a great weekend at Essex Kite park at the first round of the BKSA events. On Saturday the wind was gusting 18-42mph so the freestyle comp was delayed to Sunday. The BKSA decided to run a buggy race which I won! Though, I did manage to get a mild concussion after hitting my head on the back axle. On Sunday the wind settled down so the comp went ahead, it was great riding with some of the best riders in the Europe. In one of the rounds I got dragged into a ditch full of nettles, upside down, but I managed to right myself to claim 3rd place overall. Looking forward to the next round at Redcar.
